Babylon

Over the centuries, Babylon has become a timeless icon, a symbol of confusion and sin, of wonder and beauty. From this immense past, where civilisation took its first steps with the discovery of the wheel, writing, the sundial, and the hourglass, sublime traces remain. However, these remnants, scattered in the museums of Berlin, Paris, and London, are only a faint echo of the grandeur they once witnessed. The civilisation of Mesopotamia, like all human endeavours, was ultimately destroyed by history and time.
